Dion's Dad, Paul Nash

Paul Nash, Dion's Dad
Paul Eugene Nash is Dion’s Dad, he’s 85; Paul gave Dion the poem ‘If’ by Rudyard Kipling when Dion was just a lad and in Paul’s opinion in need of a bit of fatherly advice – this poem is where the name ‘Triumph & Disaster’ comes from.

Paul has been a boxer, a builder, a pilot, a Farmer, throughout all of which he has been a Dad to six kids and a husband to one wife. Dion is the baby and the spoiled brat of the family, but he credits his dad for gifting him a sense of work ethic and many years of sound advice, but never any grooming tips.

Apart from watching Paul shave when they were both much younger, grooming was never part of this farmer’s arsenal. Times they are a changing however, Paul now uses ‘Gameface’ moisturiser and No Dice sunscreen – Son educating the father – job done- but as Dion says there’s a long way to go before the books are balanced on this front – Happy Father’s day Paul and thanks for being a great Dad.
